Terms of Service (TOS) for 3D Printed Products

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing products from [ Make Molds], you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not purchase or use our products.

2. Product Characteristics & Manufacturing Process

Some products are manufactured using 3D printing technology. Due to the nature of additive manufacturing, each item is unique and may vary slightly from product photos, renderings, or previous orders.

Customers acknowledge and accept that:

Minor dimensional variations may occur due to printer tolerances, material properties, and environmental conditions during production.
Colors may vary between batches, manufacturers, materials, and monitor displays. Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed.
Surface finish, texture, layer lines, and print orientation may differ from item to item.
Slight imperfections, seam lines, support marks, or post-processing marks are normal characteristics of the 3D printing process and are not considered defects.
Material appearance may vary due to filament type, color blends, specialty materials, and manufacturing conditions.
Product weight, fit, and overall appearance may vary slightly from published specifications.
Custom-made and made-to-order items may have variations that do not affect the intended function of the product.
Product photos are provided for reference purposes only and may not represent the exact item received.

Every effort is made to produce products that meet our quality standards; however, reasonable variations inherent to the 3D printing process are expected and accepted by the customer upon purchase. Such variations shall not be considered defects and do not qualify for returns, refunds, or replacements unless they materially affect the functionality of the product.

 

3. Product Characteristics

Due to the nature of 3D printing:

Minor layer lines, surface imperfections, and slight color variations may be present.
Dimensions may vary slightly from design specifications.
Product photos are representative examples and may differ slightly from the final product received.
Products are inspected prior to shipment to ensure acceptable quality standards.

These characteristics are normal and do not constitute defects.

4. Intended Use

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for its intended application.

Our products are not intended for:

Life-saving or safety-critical applications.
Medical devices or medical use.
Aerospace, aviation, or automotive safety components.
Any application where product failure could result in injury, death, or significant property damage.
5. Product Safety

Customers assume all risks associated with the use, installation, modification, or misuse of our products.

By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that:

3D printed materials may have limitations in strength, heat resistance, UV resistance, and durability.
Exposure to excessive heat, chemicals, sunlight, moisture, or stress may affect product performance.
Products should be regularly inspected for wear or damage.
6. No Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all products are sold "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no express or implied warranties, including but not limited to:

Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Durability
Performance under specific conditions
7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Your Business Name], its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

Direct damages
Indirect damages
Incidental damages
Consequential damages
Lost profits
Property damage
Personal injury

arising from the use, misuse, inability to use, or failure of any product.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

8. Custom Orders

Custom-designed and personalized items are non-refundable once production has begun.

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all designs, dimensions, spelling, and specifications before manufacturing.

9. Returns and Refunds

Custom or personalized items are generally non-refundable.
Returns for non-custom products may be accepted within [2] days of delivery.
Returned items must be unused and in original condition.
Shipping costs and Fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
All returns will be inspected before refund is issued, minus shipping / return and fees that may have applied.  
10. Intellectual Property

All designs, models, images, logos, and product descriptions created by [Your Business Name] remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit our designs without written permission.

11. Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled before shipping. Once order has shipped it may not be canceled. 

12. Shipping and Delivery

Estimated production and shipping times are provided as guidelines only.
Shipping rates and cost are calculated via Shopify. Any errors your order can be cancelled and fully refunded. 

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

Shipping carriers
Weather events
Supply shortages
Technical issues
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
13. Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Your Business Name] from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses resulting from the use, misuse, modification, or resale of our products.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
